Our controlled-angle stands are for 250mm wheel, and work well with wheels from 240 to 260mm in diameter (9-10").

Compatible only with Tormek Universal Supports like US-105, US-400, US-430.

The stand is 10mm (0.4") thick, made of one piece of metal. Solid and precise.
These stands are industrial grade, made to last for hundreds of sharpenings a day for many years.
The support bar holder is made of high grade stainless steel for prevention of the fastener thread stripping, so that multiple uses cannot strip it. If made of aluminium or plastic, the thread will strip sooner or later.

We make these stands for industrial use at meat plants and abattoirs. They have mill finish and may have cosmetic imperfections. Do not expect a polished presentation finish.

Our controlled-angle stands will last for hundreds of thousands of sharpenings, for your lifetime and beyond.

Our CBN wheels run with tap water on Tormek machines that take 250mm wheel: T-8, T-7, SuperGrind-2000.
These wheels also fit slow wet grinders of other brands that take 250mm wheel and have 12mm shaft: Scheppach, Record, WEN etc.

Suitable for all knife and tool steels.

These wheels are by Dr. Vadim's research.
We did a research to determine the best embedding rate of CBN crystals for our wheels � how much the CBN crystals must be exposed in the nickel bed of the wheel to grind fast on Tormek. This number is crucial for the use of CBN wheels at low RPM.
Other manufacturers of CBN wheels for Tormek use the same embedding rate as used in CBN wheels run on high RPM grinders.

We've been testing these wheels for 9 months in knife sharpening before going for production.
Our CBN coating technology overcomes the issues with wet grinding that other producers have, and implements a special embedding rate for faster grinding on slow Tormek.

There is no reason why you should not have our CBN wheel on your Tormek or other brand slow wet grinder. You pay less than for the stone SG or SB wheel, but get the grinding wheel that lasts times longer and you never have to true.

Put the plastic spacer in place of the removed grinding wheel, when you hone on the felt wheel mounted on the honing side. When honing longer knives, you may need to remove the grinding wheel.

Kangaroo harvesting is strictly regulated, and only a few states allow commercial use.
Our Australian workshop is the only maker of the Kangaroo Tail strops on the planet, because kangaroo skins are exported without tails, and strop manufacturers in other parts of the world never get them.

These kangaroos are harvested by our licensed shooters in the Australian outback under an environment protection program for habitat-threatening overpopulation.

Kangaroo tail is renown for the highest tensile strength of all animal leathers, making it an exceptional hanging strop.
Kangaroo tail is different to the skin: the kangaroo skin is smooth, while the tail has a palpable cross-texture; the difference is the same as between the human skin and sole.

Kangaroo tail is most effective of all hanging strops in removing the wire edge. Knives stropped on the kangaroo tail stay sharp for longer than those stropped on its skin - this is sort of a factual knowledge in Australia.

* Only a small percentage of kangaroos have a tail good to cut out a single 60+cm hanging strop. It takes a whole kangaroo to harvest a single tail strop, and not every roo is good for that.
