Knife Life TCC is a trusted indicator of the overall knife cutting performance and edge retention. The higher the number, the better is the knife performance.
ICP Initial Cutting Performance is extremely sensitive indicator of the edge "softening" by overheating the edge by aggressive dry power sharpening techniques.
ICP indicates quality of the sharpening process. The higher the number, the better is quality of the sharpening process.
The following round of tests was performed by a private owner of the CATRA tester.
Because of that this data is not authoritative, and we plan to validate them by independent CATRA testing.
